Initially when Becky began her career, she was employed by either home builders or contractors. But, she eventually decided to establish her own business, which she now operates according to her own process. Despite her initial reluctance to improve processes with newer programs, her ideas were not met with the same level of enthusiasm by her employers. She learned that in order to do things her way, she had to pave the way. Through experience, she has come to the realization that she offers significant value to her clients, and effective communication is key to conveying this value. In 2020, she recognized the potential of creating a virtual presence, and over the past four years, she has worked diligently to expand her skill set in person through networking.

Modern Virtual Designs
RP Lumber. While working for RP Lumber, Becky built a positive reputation for the kitchen and bath department. Before she started and before the business acquisition, this reputation was lost. Becky helped fix incomplete jobs, jobs with mistakes, update samples, develop new business partners, found new prospects, as well as fostered a growing sales outlook for the department's future. Specifically, she took what was a negative profit department to just under $150,000 in sales for 2023. Additionally, Becky was the representative for the company with the local farmers market and network events with the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce.
Groskopf Construction. Becky consulted with clients to make all selections during the entire remodeling process including new builds for Groskopf Construction in Okauchee, WI. She specialized in kitchen and bath designs while staying up-to-date with manufacturers and trends. Also, Becky was responsible for updating and maintaining the showroom. Becky's most notable achievement was her development of a more efficient way for the project managers to view what was selected in real-time.
